Specifications For Producing Artwork

For the ring binder outer cover and inner liner sheets

Herewith are some guidelines to help you produce artwork for paper over board binders if in any doubt please give us a call. Both designers and printers need to be aware of the 20mm fold over edges needed for the outer cover sheet. Also awareness that when designing or positioning images on the spine or back cover the placing of the mechanism rivets could interfere with your design.

• A Full trimmed cover size including bleed
• B 20mm bleed to all edges (unprinted)
• C Front and back cover including spine – full binder size
• D Front and back cover width size
• E Spine width size
• F Liner depth and width

Ring Mechanism

• ‘O’ ring binder mechanism is fitted to the spine
• ‘D’ ring (or arch ring) binder mechanism is fitted to the back cover
